Start with a readable DVD folder
Use an unencrypted DVD-Video disc or a complete VIDEO_TS folder on your computer. Keep its IFO and VOB files together so the importer can identify titles correctly. The application does not remove DVD copy protection or open an ISO file directly.
Import titles and decide what to save
- Click Import DVD and select the readable disc folder or DVD folder on your computer.
- Review the titles and their durations. Select the recording you need; use Main feature as a starting point, then check that it is the right title.
- Add the selected titles to the queue. Open Edit if you only want a shorter section of a title.
- Choose a video format to keep the picture and sound, or an audio preset such as MP3 when you only need the soundtrack.
- Choose the output location and click Convert. Open each finished file to check the selected title and audio before putting the original disc away.
Keep titles and disc menus in perspective
A converted video file contains the selected footage. It does not reproduce the DVD's interactive menu as a working menu. If your source is an ISO, first make its unencrypted DVD folder accessible with a suitable separate tool; renaming an ISO to a video extension will not convert it.
