Audio normalization or peak normalization is the process of uniformly increasing (or decreasing) the amplitude of an entire audio signal so that the resulting peak amplitude matches a desired target.
Let’s say you have a large music collection but the audio levels are all over the place. How could you make them sound alike so you don’t have to constantly adjust the volume? MP3 Editor for Free will help solve this problem.
Follow the lead to apply normalization effect:
To add the normalization effect, you firstly need to launch MP3 Editor for Free and add an audio file to the waveform window. Then click “Effect” tab and choose “Normalize” to specify detailed parameters or apply some popular presets to adjust the effect. Click “OK” to add the normalization effect to the selected region.
